Illustrating complexity.
A series of seven small prints made for a text on how illustration is used to illuminate complex ideas, from graphs all the way through to graphic novels. The prints are tetrapak prints, made by opening up old oat milk cartons and scratching/cutting/tearing images into them, before printing in a linseed-oil-based ink on a big old press.
One of these prints was longlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2026, under the Editorial category!
The essay is now available to read online.
